The Polar Bear Water Treatment FTE® Facility is a state-of-the-art oilfield wastewater treatment and disposal facility.  The receiving area of the facility is designed to allow easy access to water trucks offloading produced water and oil hauling trucks to load condensate.  Trucks enter the facility through a gate in the northeastern portion of the property to approach the unloading tanks, where water quality is evaluated for TDS constituents prior to being pumped from the truck to the holding tanks.  After unloading, the trucks can exit the property through a second gate in the west side of the produced water unloading area.  The facility includes an unloading area, an oil/water separation facility, separation and holding ponds, and operator quarters, shop and laboratory.  The facility is fenced for security and staffed whenever it is in operation for additional security.

The Polar Bear Water Treatment FTE® Facility was constructed in Spring 2012 and recently opened in June 2012.  The photos below show the construction of the evaporation ponds in March and April 2012.
